Jazz Classes (Non Competitive)
This is a fast paced class that includes instruction in turns, jumps, flexibility, and choreography. The students do a warm up working on jazz technique, posture and coordination. Students can start jazz as young as age six and can continue on into festival competitions and performance jazz. Each teacher has their own unique combination of styles however the basic techniques are the same and can be applied to any style of Jazz.
Apparel: All jazz students require tight fitting clothing such as a bodysuit, dance shorts or jazz pants, and black jazz shoes. Hair to be worn in a ponytail or bun.

Jazz Technique(Turns/Progressions)
These classes are offered as a second class for those students wishing to take more dance and to improve at a faster pace. The focus in these classes will be on technique and corner work, not choreography.
