Year-End & Cinderella General Information

Weekend Overview: 

FRIDAY, JUNE 10TH: 

• Ballet Cinderella Tech Rehearsal Day 1

SATURDAY, JUNE 11TH

• Ballet Cinderella Tech Rehearsal Day 2 (morning) 
  TECH REHEARSAL DETAILS WILL BE EMAILED SEPARATELY

• 2pm Show A Cinderella & Showcase 

• 6pm Show B Cinderella & Showcase 

 

SUNDAY, JUNE 12TH

• 1pm Show C Cinderella & Showcase

• 6pm Show D Cinderella & Showcase 

 

**Please note: all classes on Friday, June 10th and Saturday, June 11th are CANCELLED at the studio as all staff and dancers will be at the theatre.

SHOW EXPECTATIONS:

• Students in full hair and makeup will be dropped off at our check-in tent and escorted to their designated area by parent volunteers - they will be assisted to get changed and touch up hair and make up if needed
  Drop Off Tent is at loading bay off of 23rd and Lonsdale

• Students need to be bring a quiet backstage activity such as a book or video game to keep them entertained when it is not their turn to dance 

• Students may bring snacks, but are not permitted to eat while wearing their costumes 

• At the end of the show, after the Finale dance, all students will be escorted to the check-in tent to be checked-out and picked up 

• It is not possible to pick students up at intermission as there will be no check-in/check-out staffing - students are expected to stay for the duration of the show
  ***staff & volunteers will provide colouring sheets, activities, and supervision throughout the entirety of the show, additionally there is a live monitor to the stage so dancers waiting downstairs can watch the show 

 

WHAT YOUR DANCER NEEDS IN THEIR DANCE BAG: 

Please label all of your child’s belongings including the dance bag

• Water bottle 

• Non-messy, nut-free snacks 

• Make up kit for touch ups 

• Hair supplies for touch ups 

• Extra pair of tights 

• Required dance shoes 

 

If your child is ages 12+ and will be staying at the theatre between shows, you can drop food off to the side door and one of our volunteers will bring it to them.
 

DROP OFF PROCEDURES & CALL TIME: 

All dancers in the CINDERELLA BALLET need to be dropped off 1 HOUR before showtime. All dancers in the REC OR COMPETITIVE SHOWCASE part of the show needs to be dropped off 30 MINUTES before showtime.

If your child is ages 12+ and will be staying at the theatre between shows, you can drop food off to the side door and one of our volunteers will bring it to them.

LOBBY SALES: 

If you pre-ordered flowers, or Cinderella-themed items from our SD SHOP, they will be ready for pick up in the lobby prior to each show! 

If you did not order flowers, we will have some onsite for purchase while supplies last!

VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED FOR SHOW B!

We are looking for volunteers for Show B to assist with the Starlettes (Ballet Ages ¾) and Flower Girls (Grade 1) - please sign up by emailing Melissa Haibeck mel@toddandmelissa.com
